Granite Staters, a project of the Marijuana Policy Project, worked to push the presidential candidates in both major parties to take strong, public, positive positions on medical marijuana during the 2007-2008 primary campaign in New Hampshire.

As a result of GSMM’s work, 10 of the major party presidential candidates pledged to end federal attacks on medical marijuana patients and caregivers.
